    How I Help

Is living with a chronic illness keeping you from having the life you want? Are you feeling stuck, frustrated, and tired? I am here to help uncover solutions. My work is dedicated to helping people develop more fulfilling lives and it would be my pleasure to work with you.

I feel the most important element in healing comes from a genuine, empathic relationship. I utilize a strengths-based approach and believe that all people, with the right tools in place, have the capacity to overcome their struggles. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to help adults overcome issues with mood, anxiety, pain, weight concerns and the ongoing management of chronic illness.

    Education and Training

I received my master’s degree in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2000. I am currently Board Certified as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona. I have completed extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness. I have also extensively worked with people who are living with chronic illness and provide consultation services and teach therapy skills to other behavioral health professionals.
