    Telehealth

Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Are you a busy stay-at-home or working parent, and don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment?

Do you live in a more rural area, or maybe you prefer to just do things Virtually?

If so, we can help you through virtual therapy, or telehealth.

Telehealth allows us to provide counseling and therapy to our clients via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone.

Telehealth appointments can be very beneficial if getting to a traditional in-person appointment is not convenient, or you simply just don’t want to.

Our telehealth solution allows you to schedule an appointment directly online and have the entire therapy session take place digitally.

    Telehealth FAQs

What types of technology will be used? Will it be too hard for me to figure out?

Telehealth is really quite simple. The only technology that we use during a telehealth session will be a computer with a built-in microphone, camera, and the secure HIPAA-compliant platform to communicate efficiently while preserving the your full safety and privacy of information. Asking for help is always a good idea. If you are having trouble or are unsure of how to use the platform or your computer, do not worry. We are here for you and will happily assist as needed.

Why would I want to use telehealth?

We believe therapy is good for everyone and should be easily accessible to all. That is why we have decided to offer telehealth to increase access to therapy for individuals with physical, medical, and/or mobility disabilities. This secure HIPAA-compliant technology increases access to services in areas with few mental health resources and offers therapy to those who find it difficult to attend therapy on-site. Additionally, telehealth offers flexible scheduling and more time for reflection for the patient to collect information about their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors outside of the sessions.

How safe is my conversation through the internet? I’m worried about my privacy.

As licensed therapists, we understand and respect your privacy and your health above all else, which is why we have implemented a software that is completely safe and secure and follows HIPAA rules, regulations, and compliance. The storage of electronic files, video, and images is approached with the same caution as one would take with physical documents. Telehealth is extremely safe, secure, and protected.
